This recipe brings such joy to my heart.
I remember being a little girl and Papa making the best French Toast ever! It wasn't something he made every morning, but when he did I felt so special, so I usually make this quick easy recipe on days that feel pretty special.

Okay so I start off by grabbing
a medium size bowl, eggs (2 per person), 1/3 cup of milk, fork, butter, skillet, and bread
a medium size bowl, eggs (2 per person), 1/3 cup of milk, fork, butter, skillet, and bread
Go ahead and crack the eggs in with the milk
Beat the eggs and milk until it is all mixed together.
Start warming up your skillet (I usually put mine on 6) and add your butter to the skillet
I didn't do a lot of butter, just enough to where when melted, it would cover the whole pan
When the skillet is warm enough go ahead and start dipping your bread into the bowl and then place it on the pan
Here it goesssssss
Flip the bread when it is nice and golden :)
I figured I would try and flip it in the air :)
Success!!!!
Success!!!!
I like just syrup on mine. Bryan likes powdered sugar. You can really put whatever you want on top. Jelly, Cinnamon, eggs...
Hope you enjoy!
